336. This doesn't look good. She's a RED HEAD. Even myself as a red head wouldn't be able to pull of being blonde no matter what the makeup. She's got dark freckles! This looks bad. Marilyn Monroe had porcelin skin!
MAAAYBEEE if she kept her natural auburn red color, had real 70's hippie chick photoset and makeup she might be able to pull of posing nude and look classy. but not this. The guy who thought she was perfect for this must have forgotten how Marilyn Monroe looked when he took the photos over 40 years ago. The dude is obviously blind.
Respected magazine or not, this was a bad idea.

337. I think these pictures are wonderful. She has a beautiful natural body. Her chest is real any person of intelligence can see that. Not all women should be hard and have rock hard brown beach balls as boobs. Come on people.!!! She may be making some pretty bad choices lately but do not insult her beauty. Pale is beautiful.

339. I am not going to say that she is a whore, or that she's nasty...what I WILL say is that I think this is a sad move to get her career back on track. I have always wanted to like Lindsay, but honestly I never saw her as that great of an actress. I think she has had a number of chances to prove that she could be a great actress and be taken seriously, but she has failed everytime and I am just fed up with her. As a Marilyn fan, I recognize Marilyn had a drug and alcohol problem, posed nude herself and slept with quite a few men, First of all, the consequences of drugs and alcohol were not as known as they are today. Secondly, Monroe also had mental problems that could be attributed to her use. Plus most actors and actresses of that day had substance abuse problems.Thirdly, the first time she posed nude, she did not go by her name, so it was not a publicity stunt such as this...the one that Lohan is copying was done when Monroe was 36 years old. Not saying that should make a difference, but as someone a year older than Lindsay, I think it is extremely gross in a pedophilic way, I still think of myself as a young'un sometimes...also, Monroe had already established an amazing career...she was able to do things no other actress had before her. As for her relations with men, Monroe did nothing more than what other actresses of her time did. Sure there was women like Katherine Hepburn who MAY not have slept around to get into movies and to keep her career going, but most actresses of the time, slept around for their careers. She also was sexually abused in her childhood. I just wanted to say things to clarify what people say about Monroe before they really know what the are talking about. I will agree that the two do share these similarities, but this is where they stop. Regardless of what people feel about Monroe, she is just simply in another class the Lindsay. Maybe because she died young, and has always been a fascination to everyone. The bottom line is this, and then I'll stop thins annoyingly long post: I am sick of seeing all these young stars pose as someone in the past, just like they're saying "Hey, this person is a legend, so you should think of me as one, even though I've got half the talent, and have never had to work for my success, yeah folks! I'm a Marilyn Monroe (or Audrey Hepburn or whoever) and you better damn well not forget it!" This was a HORRIBLE career move and any success she has from now on will be from people who are not tired of this absolute crap and let stars make us see what they wants us to see.......Stick a fork in you Girl, you done.

340. for all those complaining about the fact that her sister was present - its an ARTSY nude shoot, there's nothing wrong with nudity if done in a tasteful manner, its not like she's making porn in front of her little sister, who really isnt even that little. the sister is like thirteen, i think she knows what a boob is by now.

343. Alright, I will agree that she definitely is no Marilyn. Marilyn was amazing in her time. She made mistakes, but keep in mind that she brought herself up from nothing, miserable abusive childhood, abandonment, sexual abuse, etc to become the woman that millions of men wanted to be with and millions of women wanted to be. No one will ever be able to "be" Marilyn, ever.
Now, while I agree that these pics may not be the best of Lilo, I do have to give her some credit for getting up there and showing off her stuff for the world to see. I don't have the guts to do that. Maybe her boobs droop a little, but can ANY woman on here (who has REAL boobs) say that they have no sag whatsoever? Nope! Also, for all the people saying the freckles are nasty, disgusting, etc....hello, she is a NATURAL RED HEAD (as am I)....guess what usually goes hand in hand with red hair....FRECKLES! Maybe it is because I too have freckles that I am offended by these comments.
Now, keep in mind, I am not defending her recent lifestyle choices...she has f-ed up royally, but she seems to actually be trying to stay sober and straighten up her life. But ask yourselves....have you ever done something you regret? Some mistake in your life that you wish you could change? Of course you have, you are human....now, did you have to deal with the media following and discussing every single mistake you made? Nope...you had a few friends or family who ragged on you about it for a while and then it was over....celebrities like Lilo have to deal with constantly being under a microscope, its no wonder there are celebrities going into rehab left and right. Be realistic folks, they really are no different from "normal" people. They are going to make mistakes, just like you are. They are going to stumble in life sometimes, just like you are.
Again, I do not in any way agree with some of the lifestyle choices she has made. As a public figure who has millions of young girls looking up to her, she should make more of an effort to portray the image of a well put together young woman. Our society does not have enough public role models for our children (again, I believe that it is the parents who should have the most impact on a childs upbringing, teaching them values, how to lead a life that you can be proud of) but the reality is that our children DO look up to celebrities. It is my opinion that we should be focusing on those who are doing a good job, who are being good role models (like Miley Cirus for example) instead of these train wrecks.
One last thing to consider, Lilo has been in the public eye since she was a CHILD. She has never had the opportunity to just be a kid. I personally feel sorry for her, but I feel more sorry for those people who feel the need to bash her in order to make yourselves feel better.
Maybe her body isn't perfect. BUT before you complain about her body, go take a look in your own mirror. What does your naked body look like? Chances are it isn't good enough to get into a magazine, but as long as YOU are comfortable in your own skin that is all that matters. As for me, I am plus sized, not because I am lazy, not because I eat too much, that is just how my body has become after 2 very difficult pregnancies, and a hysterectomy at the age of 24. I have dark red hair, and freckles all over, my boobs sag, I have stretch marks....guess what though....I have a husband who loves me for me, and when I look in the mirror I may not always love the way I look, but I know that I am real. I am a good person, my body is only the shell that holds the stuff that is really important, like my heart, my soul, my mind. Our society is so focused on LOOKS.
For those of you who are being so critical, I feel sorry for you. For you to bash someone whom you have never met just because her body doesn't fit into YOUR opinion of "perfect" is just very narrow minded. You are just as much to blame for all of these young girls fighting a battle against anorexia and bulemia as the industry is. Shame on you!

Good job Lilo, enjoy your body. It is beautiful in a natural way. Be confident being yourself.

Now, I am going to take my fat, freckled body, sagging boobs self into bed with my husband.

344. I am sorry, the first time I saw these photos on tv I was gagging... Very common looking, out of shape, she even lookes thick waisted in one of the side shots. Not to mentions the pasty, cold looking skin. I swear a good drag queen could have made a better recreation of the marilyn photos. Now I am gay and the female form does not do alot for me, but the actual marilyn photos are beautiful, these are not. Not that I hate the girl, I have seen her photograph much better. Maybe some vaseline on the lens would have helped... Common Common Common....and actually very bad quality, the photographer must be on his last legs....
