Let me clear up my bitter ignorance... reading these blogs and actually hearing what SOME of you white people say about us just makes me sick to my stomach!! It makes me want to retaliate and HATE!!! But truth be told I don't hate anyone, because of the color of their skin... I was raised better than that!!! In fact, not that this matters, but my bestfriend is a white girl!! I call her my sister! But not every white girl or guy for that matter has given me the chance to hold them up in that light! I'm afraid that racism is worse in 07-08.. and it makes me sad when I come here and post in retaliation to someone thats just down right hateful to any black person posted on this site and with the next breath I'm calling my sister (white girl)to make my day a little better..

I am not PRO BLACK!!!! And my post before was not about poverty!!! It was about equality!! How can I be good for this?? But not good enough for that?? It just hurts to hear someone that hasn't had to walk in your shoes tell you to take them off, because there the past (how can you say just get over it??) I'm sorry but I can't!! I marched with Martin Luther King. My ancestors helped with the underground railroad here in Canada. Blacks that lived here were free, and not slaves. It would have been nice to compare shoes some time. Later!
