TMZ has Brown's statement, but I saw his responses to reporters' questions about criminal indictments for CALIFORNIA DOCTORS PRESCRIBING at pharmacies in California--he STRESSED that.

You have all known about this medical board investigation into the two doctors for ANS for overprescribing and their choice of drugs--during pregnancy, etc. You knew Brown's Department was involved and there was rumors of DEA. Now you know all about it.

Has nothing to do with Stern on a legal level. It is not a crime to be at Dr. E's home.

Legally you are all talking out of your she-goat as_es.

The state Attorney has nothing to do with this. Anna died in a Sovereign Nations.
This case will become a federal matter if it is reopened, not a State matter.

97. Out of control greedy lawyers in California need a tough street-wise Attorney-General like Jerry Brown to make them stop and think twice before breaching legal ethics. I applaud tossing unethical doctors into that hopper too!! This is one of my fave stories about him:

OAKLAND (AP) ---- Mayor Jerry Brown, the former governor who once dated singer Linda Ronstadt and is one of the political world's best-known lifelong bachelors, has announced plans to marry his longtime live-in girlfriend.

Brown will wed Anne Gust, an executive with Gap Inc., in a ceremony to be officiated by Sen. Dianne Feinstein. A wedding date has yet to be scheduled.

"It was about time," Brown said. "We're very excited."

Brown, 67, served as California governor from 1975 to 1983, where his quirky politics and iconoclastic behavior earned him the moniker "Gov. Moonbeam." In the late 1970s, his career was briefly overshadowed by a well-publicized relationship with Ronstadt.

Brown and Gust, who have been together nearly 15 years, live in an Oakland loft with their Labrador retriever, Dharma. Gust is 20 years younger.

He ran for the Democratic nomination for president in 1992 and once ran for U.S. Senate. Outside politics, he has been a spiritual scholar and radio host.

Ever the populist, he has developed a reputation as a hard-working mayor since being elected in 1998 to lead the blue collar city in the eastern San Francisco Bay area.

"I closed two crack houses within 200 yards of where I sleep," Brown said after moving with Gust into the downtown loft. "I'm in the nitty gritty of the urban experience."
