AG on Anna Nicole -- "Serious Crime Has Been Committed"

California Attorney General Jerry Brown says that he requested the search warrants executed earlier today in connection with the death of Anna Nicole Smith because, he believes, "a serious crime has been committed."

In a press conference just concluded, Brown didn't divulge specific details of what he was looking for, and what crimes might have been committed, but told reporters that "playing with dangerous drugs" can result in death and "prescribing drugs illegally is a crime," and he suggested people should "put it together."

As TMZ first reported earlier Friday, eight warrants were served today, including one at the home of Smith's former psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, where Howard K. Stern happened to be time at the search. The Medical Board of California is investigating Eroshevich, who ordered a virtual pharmacy of drugs for Anna, five days after her son Daniel died.

34. People, think about this: Was it Howard K. Stern's job to keep Anna sober? I have been in a similar situation, and my loved one passed away. It was horrible. I tried everything I could to keep him from using drugs. The night before he passed he took some drugs behind my back and lied about it. i have tremendous guilt anyway. I replay his last hours in my head over and over and berate myself for not being more vigilant. Mr. Stern may be going through the same thing. Back off unless you have walked a mile in his shoes.

36. Jerry Brown is the Ralph Nader of politics. He will get to the bottom of this. He has been
govenor, mayor now Ca attorney general. Virgies FBI friend and O'Quinn put pressure
on the office. I hope Dr. Kris, Kappor and HKS rot. ANS was a troubled woman oh so
obvious- Hopefully something will come out of this. Disbarment and Dr. K losing her license and a nice manslaughter charge.

37. yeah well look at this way unless Larry wants a perjury charge he testified in Florida court
that Howard had a huge duffle bag of drugs even in the hospital while Anna was trying to detox and howard was giving her drugs.. I think that is part of reason we havent heard from Larry and a lawsuit against Rita.. Larry needs to rethink his steps as he will be testifying against Howard sooner then later

40. This case will go on in perpetuity, as long as someone thinks that they can still make some money or fame for themselves posthumously from her! I'm actually surprised that someone hasn't already exhumed her body yet. You know they will, kinda like buried treasure of sorts.

44. I'm glad they're investigating. Whatever people thought of Anna personally, if she WAS murdered then she deserves to get justice and I hope they catch who did it.

45. If Larry gets Stern out of his life,he won't have to share any more money with him,Larry his all about the money now,he fooled us all.
But then again Larry didn't have the guts to run to the Dr.'s when he saw Stern giving Anna more drugs when she was in the hospital,he JUST walked away like a coward,or he didn't care how so much drugs could hurt his baby.
All the players in this terrible saga should rot in HELL!!!!
