31. What a darling and deceived young woman. She's not deceived because she's found and is supporting some cause she believes in. She's deceived, because she gave even one penny to anything with the Bill or Hillary Clinton's name on it. $45M down the drain.

33. 'I"ve always enjoyed Shakiras music and her versatility with it. I'm saddened though to read here that she has apparently taken a bash America stance, post 9-11. Very saddened if true, and I think I will take the time to look it up.

If true, than my views of her and her music will change. I will keep an open mind until than, but thanks to those on here who have pointed it out, because if true, I will never play her music again. And look to her as a spiteful, ungrateful, self promoting phoney. Her giving 45 million is like what, one whole concert tours gross revenue? Big deal, shes done concert tours her entire adult life and has many millions beyond that. On a percentage basis, its no greater than what a normal person may give on a percentage of their own salary...like Oprah.

If anyone has specific information or links to see these anti American comments do please share them...if not, than Never Mind.

Learn from this stupid Britney, Lindsay, Paris, and all those stupid celebrities, we can be poors, or whatever you like but we are mature people, while in this country you call a 25 year old guys KIDs, tell a 16 year latino kid and he will beat your ass up like you have no idea. Yes we are poor that's the only reason we can't do bigger things, but we are growing little by little, we are in politics, sports, news, hollywood, even many of the TMZ staff are Latinos, all with hard work, with hard work we are going to recover what America has stole to Latin America, but with hard work 25 more years and there will be a Latino president like it or not.

Shakira was big, BIG, very BIG LONG BEFORE cooming to America, with millions of albums sold all over Latin America, ..yes right? Exactly like Ricky Martin, Gloria Stefan, Enrrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony and many many others, that's why she is donating her money where it really belongs to Latin America.

You should this question not to Shakira but to Oprah or Madonna, not to Shakira, read more, stupid Americans read more, learn Spanish, like it ot not you have to do it as well as your sons, otherwise they will be in disvantage, period.

40. #15 needs to be deported. I dont think TMZ should even give Shac a word on this site for her charity contrabutions, when she starts giving to charities in the US than it will be news. And whats with famous rich people giving to other countries charities, chances are there not even used for what they say there going to use it for, And adopting children from other countries when we have plenty of orphans here in the US. We need to put into this country, not other countries that may one day be our enemies. Think Globally, you sound like a bad Pauly Shore movie.

41. First of all, for those critizicing her for not being "American" and not donating money to america, it is only fair!

Why doesn't the president donate money? because he's a heartless @#$%^&*! but in the meantime Shakira is known for her great music, whether here or in South America. If we didn't have people like her, no one would donate to other places but to the ones that they got the money from. Its nice that for once she doesnt think only of herself regardless of where shes is from, where her fame comes from, or where the money is coming from. We all need help and as far as bush, all he is doing is giving us minumum wage to pay off the deficit America owes, while in other countries the slavery and sweat shops continue.
