Britney Gets a Sheriff Escort ... For a Coffee Run!

Gimme more coffee! Popwreck Britney Spears had a cravin' for some Starbucks, and she had the company of a rather handsome Sheriff's deputy to get her inside. Ding, dang -- is she employing the law now?!

The assertive Sheriff assisted Spears by yelling and directing the crowd of paparazzi, even telling them not to enter the Starbucks as she made her order. As the belly-baring Britney waited for her drink, she clung to her pet Yorkie -- which conveniently blended in with her longer, less-tangled brunette weave.

Once Brit Brit was done, her new law enforcement buddy helped her back to her car. It's good to see tax dollars at work.

31. Well now, that's a real pisser. When I carried my Westie (20 lb dog) into Starbucks on one 100 degree day (didn't want to leave him in the car), Starbucks asked me to leave. "No dogs inside," they said. Well alrighty then.

Quit posting and commenting about her. Don't buy her magazines. It is a crime to drag that poor dog around and noone else would be allowed to take their dog in a restaurant unless it was a service dog for the disabled. She could easily make her own coffee at home. All these "outings" of hers are only in hopes she will get her picture taken. It is not even funny anymore. 37. I wish this girl would just retire and move out of the country so we didn't have to hear about her all the time. She has lots of money, no need to work anymore, 2 beautiful kids she could have a fantastic life in obscurity if she tried. Brit take your kids and RUN before something bad happens. If you shape up you could probably get sole custody from that looser ex-husband of yours (he sure doesn't need to have those kids) and move somewhere where you and your kids could have some semblance of a normal life.

38. Susan, I agree! Well said. I'm sure she pays PLENTY in taxes and has every right to call the cops. The photographers are the
problem...Britney, as a citizen, has a right to go anywhere she wants to! The photographers should have a restraining order against them. I can't imagine how stressful that would be to be hounded constantly where one couldn't even walk about freely. Princess Diana is a tragic reminder of that.
